Louis Armstrong practices his scales exclusively for Arthur Steel’s camera whilst at London Heathrow airport, 1968, awaiting a flight back to his home in the United States of America.

Renowned British photojournalist Arthur Steel has spent decades immortalizing some of the world's most iconic figures, including celebrities, sports legends, musicians, and politicians. Beyond documenting pivotal moments in history, Steel is also celebrated for his ability to share his unique observations, often infused with his distinct sense of humor.

Photographs were captured with a Leica camera with ‘Kodak Tri-x Pan’ 35 mm film, and an ISO speed of 400. All photographs are printed from the original negatives using a fibre-based Harman Galerie FB Digital print type.

Available in Limited Editions only. Works are titled, numbered and signed by the photographer and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by the photographer.
